Assistant Band Librarian Adrian Cheek

Adrian Cheek is a born and bred Chelmsfordian, joining the band from the Young People's band. He helped with music for a number of years and this position was recognised when he was commissioned Assistant Band Librarian in 1999. He is unfortunate in one way; as he plays tenor horn he sits right in front of the B/M and so often gets called upon to sort out a music problem during practice.

Adrian's father Ray also plays first horn and along with his mother and father Adrian also sings in the songsters.

Adrian works for the local authority Library service.

In his spare time he plays golf and likes to watch Formula 1 motor racing.
